Skaggs Foundation is making two scholarships available for students seeking healthcare careers! Applications for both the TEPCOR and Cox Medical Center Branson scholarships are due June 1.
As part of the partnership between CoxHealth and the now Cox Medical Center Branson, $25 million dollars was donated to Skaggs Foundation. It was communicated that a portion of interest collected on this donation would be used for healthcare education scholarships. The goal is to meet community healthcare needs.
Subject to program eligibility standards and requirements, scholarships are open to all residents of Stone and Taney counties and the employees and family members of Cox Medical Center Branson.
Scholarships are available to students who have been accepted to, or are enrolled in, approved nursing or allied health science programs at one of the following area colleges and universities: College of the Ozarks, North Arkansas College, Cox College, Ozark Technical College, Missouri State University and Drury University.
Requirements for the TEPCOR scholarship include that, upon completion of your program, you will apply for a position at Cox Medical Center Branson. Required commitment of work will be determined by scholarship award amount. Acceptance into the scholarship program is not a guarantee of current or future employment with Cox Medical Center Branson, CoxHealth or their affiliates.
