The purpose of CoxHealth Pain Center is to help patients realize their goals of pain-free living by developing a treatment plan with the referring physician and the patient which will help to improve the quality of the patient’s life.
Outpatient procedures performed by CoxHealth Pain Center include:
- Epidural steroid injections
- Peripheral nerve blocks
- Trigger point injections
- Facet joint injections
- RF rhizotomy
- Spinal cord stimulators
- Acute and chronic pain management
- Epidural steroid injections
- Cancer pain therapy
Consultations are available to discuss the options for acute/chronic pain management.
All procedures with CoxHealth Pain Center are made through referral of your physician. Should you need to change your scheduled appointment, you may do so by calling (417) 348-8200.
On the day of scheduled procedure, patients are prepped in the Pain Center. All procedures are performed on-site. After your procedure a follow up appointment will be made.
