Skaggs Regional Medical Center welcomes a Cassandra Ashley, M.D. to its staff. She’s board certified in internal medicine and recently completed her Fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Missouri School of Medicine at Kansas City.
Doctors of infectious disease help to diagnose and treat diseases. They also work with surgeons and doctors to fight infection. “Internal medicine is so diverse, and I’ve always been fascinated by infectious diseases,” says Ashley. “You deal with a variety of things, from the flu to HIV, and it always keeps you on your toes.”
Ashley attended medical school and completed her residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She has received numerous awards in her field, including an induction into the Gold Humanism Honor Society for excellence in clinical care, leadership, compassion, and dedication to service.
Ashley grew up in Independence, MO, but when talking to her you can tell her heart is in Branson. “I had visited Branson as a kid, then my husband and I came to Branson for our 10 year wedding anniversary and fell in love with it,” says Ashley. “I had interviews at other places, but decided Branson is where I want to be. Branson is so beautiful, it’s exactly what my husband and I have been searching for.”
Dr. Ashley's office is located in Skaggs Outpatient Center, 545 Branson Landing Boulevard, Suite 407, Branson, MO. Call (417) 335-7020 to schedule an appointment.
