Joint Commission (JC)
Cox Medical Center Branson is accredited by the Joint Commission (JC), and is committed to providing safe, quality care to all of our patients.
Joint Commission accreditation is granted only after a healthcare facility passes intense scrutiny of its policies, procedures and programs, as well as a comprehensive four-day on-site inspection by a Joint Commission team. Joint Commission accreditation recognizes Cox Branson's performance in complying with national standards. These standards are designed to help hospitals and other healthcare facilities achieve the highest level of performance possible, reduce patient risk, and create an environment for continuous quality improvement. Cox Branson first achieved Joint Commission accreditation in 1989 and has been re-accredited every three-year period since.
