CoxHealth Oxford Home Care has provided skilled home healthcare services to residents of Taney and Stone counties since 1983, including skilled nursing, physical therapy, occupational therapy, medical social service, personal care assistance, nutritional consultation and respiratory consultation.
Our interdisciplinary team works hard to provide the finest in home health care, allowing the patient comfort and privacy in his/her own surroundings. By delivering this type of appropriate care under the supervision of a physician, we can help patients avoid hospitalization. However, if hospitalization does become necessary, we can help patients recuperate more quickly.
Skilled Nursing
We provide skilled nursing services on an intermittent basis by or under the supervision of a registered nurse and in accordance with a plan of treatment established by your physician, including teaching, assessments, wound care, pain management, injections and laboratory draws, to name a few.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists will work with patients to design a program that can help you manage your pain, overcome physical limitations, and increase strength and mobility.
Occupational Therapy
A qualified occupational therapist will help patients return to the skills and activities of daily living through programmed exercise and other activities.
Medical Social Service
Qualified medical social workers will help patients cope with social, mental and emotional factors affecting your well-being.
Personal Care Assistance
Home healthcare aides, under the supervision of a registered nurse, will assist patients with personal hygiene tasks, bathing, dressing and exercise.
Nutritional Consultation
A registered dietitian consults with a patient's nurse to cover special nutritional needs when indicated.
Respiratory Consultation
Registered respiratory therapists are available for consultation regarding any special needs of respiratory patients.
Costs
The costs associated with home health care may be covered by Medicare, Medicaid and some insurance plans; we will provide you with assistance in determining your coverage.
Home Care:

- is licensed by the Missouri State Department of Health.
- is certified for Medicare & Medicaid.
- is preferred provider status for Blue Cross and other major insurers.
